Rare Gilford for sale
A unique opportunity to acquire one of the few remaining examples of a classic 1930s touring coach from the Gilford
stable. All the mechanics have been overhauled and the vehicle is in running condition. The bodywork has been totally
rebuilt forward of the passenger access door and the main saloon restored as and where necessary. Please note: The
interior of the saloon is incomplete requiring further panelling of the front and rear bulkheads and the ceiling. The
seats also need recovering. However, all the necessary parts and fabrics are available and are included in the sale.

1961 Atlantean for sale
1961 Leyland Atlantean PDR/1 for sale. One of the purpose built and individually named 'Sea Dog' open top / dual-purpose
buses delivered new to Devon General in 1961 for seafront services in Torbay. This one is named 'Sir Martin Frobisher'.
It has been restored over the past two years at a cost of £16,000 and which has included a new wooden floor upstairs
with new waterproof covering. New retrim of blue patterned moquette in the lower saloon with leather flashings, very
close to the original Devon General pattern. New retrim of upstairs seats in original colour blue vinyl.
New window rubbers. All the panels have been replaced and it has been hand coachpainted and varnish-finished in the
reverse Devon General livery of all-over cream with maroon band that was uniquely applied to these vehicles. Nine were
built and 4 restored buses remain with 1 more unrestored. COIF and Class 6 MOT valid until end December 2012. A pictorial

Offers are invited for this unique West Country bus or the owner would consider an exchange or part exchange (cash

I am offering for sale my fully-restored and beautiful 1967 Roe-bodied Oldham Corporation Leyland Atlantean. It is
the sole remaining bus of its type, and images of it are freely available on the internet! It has been maintained
regardless of cost and is Class 5 MOT ticketed until May, although Class 6 would be straightforward, too. I am

Rare Quest 80 VM Type for sale
Former Excelsior Plaxton Paramount 3200 low driving position bodied Quest VM. May well be the last roadworthy
member of its type. A couple more exist as wrecks. Rear mounted Ford 6 ltr Turbo engine. New gear change cables

one lot or individually, both require restoration.
1972 Leyland National Mk.1; excellent original 510 engine and gearbox, requires power steering ram. New as
PVT 231L in 1972 to PMT in Stoke-on-Trent. Passed to West Riding (Wakefield) as number 85. Became an exhibition unit
85 (PVT 231L) in "Ridings Travel" livery in which format it remains. Re-registered to 544 WRA (West Riding Automobiles)
in 1987 and to FWW 215L in July 1989 by Kirklees Metropolitan Council (Huddersfield). Stored under cover and located
in Dublin. Will deliver to Dublin Port for ferry to Holyhead. Fitted out as mobile exhibition unit with canteen and
fully accessible wheelchair ramp. 3m awning fitted externally. Would be ideal as static information unit. Good runner
but does require some mechanical work.
