Warrington Foden PVD6 for sale or swap

Due to my new business venture I am unable to devote the time to enjoy my pride and joy, therefore regrettably I have for sale my extremely rare 1956 Warrington Foden PVD6 - the star of the recent BBC4 documentary and numerous magazines.

I have spent a great deal of time and money recommissioning her after 15 years as a museum exhibit. She attended the King Alfred running day this year and performed faultlessly but hasn't really been out since. I bought her with the intention of using her for private hires etc. but she is in 'show condition' and her rarity value has stopped me doing this. Leyland Nationals and an Olympian for sale

We have three Leyland Nationals and one open-top Olympian (with roof) for sale due to the cessation of our bus service.The Nationals are a dual-purpose seated Mark 1, a Mark 2 and a Greenway. Bedford VAL for sale

Bedford VAL14 Duple Midland (Willowbrook) bus body new to Wigmore 1966 as NWR 788D, later modified to a race car transporter by Toleman. Still in this configuration but needing extensive restoration. 1956 Barton Reliance No 765 (URR 865) is going to be broken up in Suffolk if someone does not come forward to take it on. It's been standing for many years & will need full restoration. 1970 Marshall-bodied Bristol RE bus, CRR 537J. Giving this for free as a goodwill gesture to anyone willing to preserve and build it up to its former glory. Do not take it for scrap. Presently located near Edinburgh, Scotland. Whoever acquires this bus will need to arrange to move it at their expense, as soon as possible. Needs one side window. CAV Semi-Automatic Gear Selector Wanted

Wanted; CAV487A-1 gear selector (modern type generally mounted on off-side of cab). This particular version of the unit has a top left 'start' position, four forward speed selection, plus reverse top right and was fitted to late build Leyland Fleetlines. Could exchange for 487 type selector as fitted to automatic AN68 vehicles with positions 'start', H3, H4, auto and reverse as we have plenty of these available.

Lino for sale

I am about to place another order for plain brown lino, 3.2mm thick as used in many pre- and post-war buses. This is not stocked in the UK and is very hard to obtain these days. Photo collection for sale

I have a photographic collection including all the negatives taken by the late Peter Stead of Stafford, and spanning the years 1982 to 2008. They are all colour negatives & there is one complete set of prints. Negatives and prints are arranged in date take order & are written up in list form, up to neg no 18,629 dated 18/07/94. The remainder are in the same form - i.e. negs & prints packeted in date take order, but are not written into list form at all, so some guesswork as to locations etc is inevitable! In all, I would estimate that there are at least 30,000 photographs.

The content is approximately 75% buses & 25% trains & they pretty well cover the whole country. They are of good quality, sharp, well exposed and clear.

These are being readvertised due to time-wasters.

I have a few boxes (approx 4) of bus parts, some body some electrical and mechanical, also manuals (mostly Leyland), starter for PDR Atlantean, inline pump (CAV) and one brand new (but unsure what it's off) and surplus pump parts (which are expensive to buy), a 25 metre roll of Charcoal grey vinyl for seating, plus other items. Also original Greater Manchester Transport varnish fix legal lettering.

Do any of these vehicles still exist?

I am wondering if anyone knows if any of the following vehicles have been preserved, or may even be available for preservation;

1) Marshall Camair bodied Leyland Panther made (almost exclusively) for Northern General or any of its subsidiary companies (Tynemouth, Tyneside or Sunderland & District). There were another 3 that were ordered by Stratford Blue, but were delivered to Preston Corporation - one of which (I think) was registered AUE 310J.

2) Alexander bodied Leyland Panther made for Glasgow Corporation (with PYS-G registrations) and/or Newcastle Corporation or Tyne & Wear (with NTN-E, SVK-G, UVK-G and/or KBB-L registrations)

3) Alexander bodied Leyland Atlantean for Edinburgh City Transport of the 301 - 350 batch (PSC 301G to PSC 350G)
