making the presentation to this year's winner,
TAG Farnborough
Airport, at a glittering ceremony at the Plaisterers Hall in London.
Here we see Skyline Managing Director Dick Gilbert (right) presenting
the award to Roger Walker, Director Airport Operations of TAG Farnborough
Airport Ltd., with Master of Ceremonies, sports journalist and broadcaster
Jonny Gould (centre). This was particularly apt in 2008, as it represents
the centenary of the first sustained, powered flight in the British Isles,
by Samuel Cody in October 1908 - at Farnborough. Well done Farnborough, still
leading the way a hundred years later !

equipment for a blockbuster film being produced in Morocco.
Skyline Aviation has been appointed official sales
agency for UKRAINIAN
HELICOPTERS, Ukraine's largest operator of the
Mil Mi-8MTV.
Ukrainian Helicopters was formed in 2002 and operates sixteen
Mi-8MTV helicopters, each with a 4-ton payload.
The company is registered as a supplier with the United Nations World Food
Program and the International Red Cross, and was proud to contribute to the
rescue operation following the earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir in 2005.
During that program they carried more than 13000 passengers and 6 million
kilograms of cargo.

Skyline Aviation provided three Puma helicopters for the UN tsunami relief
program in Indonesia in 2005. The helicopters, operated superbly by Starlite
Aviation of South Africa, remained working in the area for four months. In
May 2005 they had the honour to transport former US President Bill
Clinton on his tour of the stricken area. The picture above shows
Mr.Clinton with the Starlite crew, and one of their Pumas.
Seen at Lokichoggio, Kenya, this is one of the Antonov An-28
aircraft that Skyline Aviation has been using for some years on a long-term
contract to transport humanitarian aid into small airstrips in southern
Sudan.
