BALTIC AIR CHARTER ASSOCIATION APPOINTS SKYLINE DIRECTOR AS CHAIRMAN

On 19 March 2009 Skyline Aviation Managing Director Dick Gilbert was appointed as Chairman of London's prestigious Baltic Air Charter Association, the premier organisation for air charter brokers worldwide. Based in the heart of the City of London, BACA is the aviation division of the 250-year old Baltic Exchange maritime trading facility.

This is BACA's 60th year, and a grand luncheon at London's historic Guildhall is being organised for members to celebrate the event in October.  

Dick says "It is a great honour to be elected to this position, and I will try to uphold BACA's principles of honest trading and ethical business practices. These are difficult times, but standards must be maintained so that the industry remains strong to take advantage of the recovery, which we hope will soon be with us".
