Skyline Aviation is proud to announce that it has
been appointed official sales agency for
UKRAINIAN HELICOPTERS,
Ukraine's largest operator of the Mil Mi-8MTV.
When General Director Volodymyr Tkachenko came to England to attend the
Farnborough Air Show in 2006, the two companies took the opportunity to seal
their marketing cooperation agreement.
Ukrainian Helicopters was formed in 2002 and operates sixteen
Mi-8MTV helicopters, with a 4-ton payload.
The company is registered as a supplier with the United Nations World Food
Program and the International Red Cross, and was proud to contribute to the
rescue operation following the earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir in 2005.
During that program they carried more than 13000 passengers and 6 million
kilograms of cargo.
Dick Gilbert, Managing Director of Skyline Aviation, said "for some years
we have been seeking a partner capable of offering high quality
Mi-8 helicopters, and we now look forward
to being able to develop our involvement in this growing area of the air
transport market."

Skyline Aviation Ltd. has been operating since
the end of 1991 and has served a large number of satisfied customers,
as well as acting as the UK sales agency for Ukrainian operators
Veteran
Airlines and
Ukrainian
Helicopters.
On these pages you will find information
about Veteran Airlines, details of our Lease, Contract
and Charter Services, a list of some of the Types
of Aircraft we use, a page about the Baltic Air
Charter Association (of which we are proud to be a member), and a page
of "Frequently Asked Questions" which contains
a lot of information about the charter and lease business, which you might
find useful.
We operate a small, friendly business, and
will always spare the time, if necessary, to guide you through the
sometimes complicated process of setting up a charter or lease, using experience
in the industry that goes back over 40 years. Although we have very good
connections with aircraft operators in the former Soviet Union, we have an
extensive background in the use of 'Western' aircraft as well, and can obtain
aircraft of all types from all over the world.
Skyline Aviation provided three Puma helicopters for the UN tsunami relief
program in Indonesia in 2005. The helicopters, operated superbly by Starlite
Aviation of South Africa, remained working in the area for four months. In
May 2005 they had the honour to transport former US President Bill
Clinton on his tour of the stricken area. The picture above shows
Mr.Clinton with the Starlite crew, and one of their Pumas.
Seen at Lokichoggio, Kenya, this is one of the Antonov An-28
aircraft that Skyline Aviation has been using for some years on a long-term
contract to transport humanitarian aid into small airstrips in southern
Sudan.
Over the years our clients have ranged from
major oil companies and car manufacturers to European governments and the
big disaster relief agencies. But that doesn't mean we don't take the small
but vital requirement seriously, and we'll be happy to organise the urgent
movement of an important document or spare part if that's what you
need.
Among our more unusual recent tasks were the provision of the Mi-8 helicopter
for the action movie
Stormbreaker,
and the transport of two live dolphins to Italy.
Feel free to call us at any time if you think
we can assist you in the business of locating the right type of cargo aircraft
for your needs, from a small helicopter to the Antonov An-124 - one of the
largest aircraft in the world. We can always help you obtain the
right equipment, in the right place, at the right time, at the
right price.
We look forward to hearing from
you.
