Ad-Hoc Charters
Our worldwide contacts enable us to provide very competitive
quotations for one-off air cargo charters anywhere in the world. We use
Western or Russian-built aircraft depending
on the requirement.
Sometimes air charter is the only option to resolve a
logistical problem and, since it is never the cheapest means of shipment,
it is essential to minimize the cost yet still achieve a prompt and effective
solution. Skyline Aviation can help you to ensure value for money and the
right aircraft for the job. Call us at any time with an air transport problem
and we will offer you a fast, free quotation.
A mighty Antonov An-124, one of the largest aircraft in the world, starts
to offload 100 tons of oil equipment in Yemen, having completed a charter
for Skyline Aviation on behalf of a major oil company.
We have organised charters for clients in all continents
of the world, and carried everything from oil pipes to aircraft parts,
helicopters and flowers, motor parts and computers, heavy vehicles, pyrotechnic
displays, share certificates and de-icing fluid - you name it, we've flown
it.
Each case is different and our specialised knowledge
and experience usually means we've done it before ( or something similar
), so we can anticipate the problems before they arise.
Skyline also keeps a watch on the movements of cargo
aircraft around the world, as there are often empty ferry flights that can
be bought at very cheap rates. Sometimes this can fit in well with a customer's
requirements and save a great deal of money.
Leases and Contracts
Skyline has considerable experience in selecting aircraft
for contracts and leases for many different requirements worldwide. We have
set up operations for airlines, oil companies and relief programs and understand
all the necessary procedures.
If you are familiar with leasing and have a regular source
for your aircraft, we may be able to assist by providing an alternative offer
which could well be attractive. Wet-leases and ACMI projects are our speciality
and we access a huge database to find the best deal with no hidden
extras.
For clients who may not have leased before, we can guide
you through the maze of options, and help to steer you around the sharks
and cowboys. Perhaps a lease is not the best solution for your requirement,
in which case we will point out the advantages of other possibilities and
help you find the best arrangement. If leasing looks best for you, we will
suggest the best type of aircraft and obtain the most competitive rates in
the market (see our
Frequently Asked
Questions section for details about lease procedures etc.).
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS CONSULTANCY SERVICE. If
you decide to proceed, we can then put the whole operation together for you.
Clients who require a program operated on their behalf
with minimal involvement can rely on our experience to provide a complete
package. We can set up the aircraft, permits, fuel arrangements, crew and
their food and hotels - everything necessary to run the operation. You can
get on with what you know best and leave the aircraft to fly to your requirements
without fuss or bother.
