The Baltic Air Charter
Association
The Baltic Air Charter Association is a British professional
body representing air charter brokers and airlines. It was founded in 1949
as an adjunct to the ancient Baltic Exchange shipping association, and is
based at the Baltic Exchange building, in the heart of the financial district
of the City of London.
The membership represents only established and professional
organisations and, to be elected, they have to satisfy the committee that
they are qualified to operate with integrity and honesty. Their motto is
"My word, my bond", and clients of the members are free to contact
the Association should they have any complaints or grievances regarding the
conduct of the members. Thus, membership of BACA represents a seal of quality
and an assurance of fair and honest trading.
Skyline Aviation Limited is proud to have been
elected as a member in June 1992, and strives to uphold the traditions,
responsibilities and ideals that are expected of the
membership.
In 2004, Skyline Aviation Managing Director Dick
Gilbert was honoured to be elected on to the Council of BACA, and he is proud
to be able to play a part in running the Association. Here we see the Council

In 2006 the Association inaugurated its "Excellence Awards"
for various facets of the industry, and Skyline Aviation is delighted
to have sponsored the "Airport of the Year" category, won this year by Dubai
International Airport.
